Leonard Stoehr, a Teamster road driver for ABF Freight System in Georgia, has been watching the TV show “Jeopardy” for more than three decades.

He put that experience to use recently when he appeared on the game show. Stoehr’s appearance will air July 11.

Jeopardy rules prohibit Stoehr from talking about how well he did on the show—until after the show or shows are broadcast.

But one thing is for sure—the member of Local 728 in Atlanta was prepared.

“I’ve always been a reader since third grade. That’s when I stopped playing baseball. I crammed for my appearance,” said Stoehr, who has been a Teamster for nearly nine years.

“I encourage all my Teamster brothers and sisters to try out for the show,” he said.
