Union Leaders Will Address Wages, Benefits
February 13, 2007
Teamster leaders will return to the table February 20 and 21
to continue contract talks for the UPS Freight workers in Indianapolis.
Bargaining will take place near Washington, D.C.
The union knows that UPS Freight workers across the country
have many questions about various issues, including wages, work rules, pensions,
health and welfare benefits. Many of those questions will be answered in a
strong contract negotiated for the workers in Indianapolis that will serve as a
model national contract.
UPS Freight workers should check for continued updates on
the Teamsters web site, www.teamster.org, as well as from
local unions.
