National Talks Resume Monday, September 24 September 22, 2007 Teamster negotiators finished negotiating several UPS contract supplements on Friday, September 21, but negotiators are continuing work this weekend on remaining supplements. Negotiators worked earlier this week on the supplements in preparation for national contract talks, which are set to resume Monday, September 24 in Chicago. Negotiators are working this weekend and will continue meeting early next week to finish the remaining supplements. The union remains adamant about reaching a tentative national agreement by October 1 that it recommend to members so that it can be ratified by the end of the year. |
