COMMENTARY BY GENERAL PRESIDENT HOFFA

Stop Outsourcing America's Security
The Defense Department weakened our national security when it recently gave a $35-billion contract to a European group for the creation of a new fleet of aerial-refueling aircraft, rejecting an offer from Chicago-based Boeing, the longtime supplier of the airplanes. We are, in short, reducing our ability to protect ourselves right when we need to protect ourselves more.
