• The International Brotherhood of Teamsters union said Monday it has asked the government to call an election to determine if the nonunion pilots at discount carrier Allegiant Airlines wish to be represented by the union.

  • (WASHINGTON) – Today, the Airline Division of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters announced it has made an application to the National Mediation Board (NMB) for a representation election to be held for the pilots of Allegiant Air.

  • We've done it! An overwhelming majority of us have signed cards authorizing the Teamsters to represent us and today the Teamsters Airline Division filed an application for a representation election with the National Mediation Board on our behalf.

  • The Southern Air crewmembers were organized as an in-house union (Southern Air Crew Group, SACG) in 2006. In March of 2010, SACG voted to certify the Teamsters as their bargaining agent and joined Local 1224.
