Don’t Forget to Update AA If You’ve Moved to a Different Address

If your mailing address has changed recently, make sure you notify AA so they have your current address on file. Why? Because when we petition the NMB for an election to become Teamsters, voting instructions and information will be mailed out to us by the NMB using AA’s records of employee addresses.

In an election, the NMB will mail our voter information to the address that the company has in its records. If you’ve moved due to being transferred to another facility or for any other reason, make sure AA has your current mailing address on file.

Also, keep a record for yourself as proof that you notified the company – it’s not unusual for airlines to try to suppress voting by providing the NMB with outdated addresses. Once you’ve updated your address information with the company, call the AA Mechanics for Teamsters hotline at 877-589-4951 to let us know what your current address is.
