(WASHINGTON) — Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa joined Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., Rep. James McGovern, D-Mass., highway safety advocates and family members of truck crash victims at a press conference today to speak out against legislation that would make radical changes to federal law, allowing heavier and bigger tractor trailers on U.S. highways.

Information About YRCW’s 2009 Stock Option Plans

YRCW Teamster members who received stock options from the first and second memoranda of understandings (MOUs) negotiated in late 2008 and mid-year 2009, will receive information from the company about a switch in administrators. YRCW is switching its administrator for the stock option plans to a less costly provider and the change has no impact on the value of the option plan.
