Local 631 in Las Vegas scored another big win at the Nevada Test Range after a two-month campaign to organize transient employees at the defense facility.

“Workers there really like our benefits and pensions,” said Local 631 Organizing Director Ray Isner, who together with Organizer John Milner won card-check recognition for the workers. “Employees see first-hand that the Teamsters deliver.”

The victory is the latest in a string of more than a dozen elections and card-check efforts by the local at the range, all of them successful. Workers are employed by Dyncorp, the latest contractor to operate the facility.
