Holland Announces Plans to Hire Nearly 1,000 Drivers

The economic recession has been very difficult for Teamster freight members, but some good news was announced this week. On March 21, Teamster-represented Holland, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide, Inc. (YRCW) announced plans to hire nearly 1,000 drivers this year.
The company said it is building on a strong four-quarter performance and volumes are increasing.
