  • Dear Teamster Union Member and Family,

Last November’s elections brought many anti-union governors and lawmakers into statehouses throughout the country. These elections were financed by a wave of corporate cash never before seen in this country.

Newly elected politicians are paying back their corporate contributors by attacking the voices of working people. Right to work (for LESS) laws are being proposed in a number of states, including Michigan, Missouri, Indiana, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Maine, Minnesota and more.

  • With the return of 39 Democratic representatives to Indiana, the Legislature can now get back to work with reordered priorities.

  • After 36 days in exile, Indiana's Democratic state representatives are coming back. Republican lawmakers agreed to abandon much of their anti-worker agenda. Right-to-work is dead in the Hoosier State, at least for now.

  • According to reports, Carlos Lam, a deputy prosecutor in Johnson County, Indiana, sent an email to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker to fake an attack on himself.

  • Mike Gillespie, business representative for Local 135 in Indianapolis, has been to every rally in Indianapolis since the War on Workers began in the Hoosier State.
