  • Dear Teamster Union Member and Family,

Last November’s elections brought many anti-union governors and lawmakers into statehouses throughout the country. These elections were financed by a wave of corporate cash never before seen in this country.

Newly elected politicians are paying back their corporate contributors by attacking the voices of working people. Right to work (for LESS) laws are being proposed in a number of states, including Michigan, Missouri, Indiana, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Maine, Minnesota and more.

  • (MANCHESTER) – Teamsters Local 633 Principal Officer Dave Laughton today urged state lawmakers to listen to their constituents and vote against a right-to-work bill aimed at destroying unions.

  • About 5,000 people showed up today for a huge rally at the New Hampshire Statehouse to protest budget cuts and stripping government workers of their collective bargaining rights.

  • New Hampshire Republicans are quietly trying to pass anti-worker legislation. Last month, the House passed a Right to Work (for less) bill. The Senate has not taken up the measure yet.

  • The House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly Wednesday to make New Hampshire the first state in the Northeast to enact a “right-to-work” law that would block unions from compelling payment from employees.
