On September 28, 2009, Stephen Greenberg, Esq. died in a tragic car accident in West Virginia. Steve, who had just turned 43, was counsel to Local 205, and one of the top attorneys in the Teamsters Legal Defense Fund.

A new contract with the 14 Teamsters Union members who work at the Niagara County Sewer District was approved by the County Legislature’s Administration Committee Tuesday.
Police officers in Winter Park voted overwhelmingly to join the Teamsters. The results of Tuesday’s election were 32-18. The officers will be members of Teamsters Local 385 in Orlando. There are 67 officers in the bargaining unit.

For five days, 65 Teamsters from more than a dozen locals crisscrossed Kentucky in a massive house blitz to reach thousands of state government workers. The effort resulted in hundreds of employees signing union authorization cards in the campaign.
