The Teamsters Union held its 28th International Teamsters Convention from Monday, June 27 through Friday, July 1 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. Approximately 6,000 Teamsters participated in this Convention, including more than 1,800 delegates, who were there to map out the future course of the 1.4-million-member Teamsters Union. The International Brotherhood of Teamsters conducted its 11th annual Women's Conference August 26-28 in New York City.
