Rome Aloise has been a dedicated Teamster since June 1968, having served in multiple positions of leadership. Aloise is currently Secretary-Treasurer of Local 853, which represents more than 11,000 members; Special Assistant to Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa; Chairman of the largest Teamsters health and welfare fund in northern California; Trustee on the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust Fund; and President of the Teamsters Joint Council 7 Executive Board.
