Union Reviews Yellow Roadway Change of Operations

Yellow Roadway has submitted two change of operations to Tyson Johnson, Director of the Teamsters National Freight Division and to other freight leaders. The union’s Change Committee has been reviewing the change of operations and has made several modifications already that are not reflected in the versions that are posted. The committee will protect the seniority and contract rights of all affected members.

A hearing is scheduled on January 26 and 27, 2009 to address the Crossover Change, and a hearing is scheduled January 28, 2009 to address the Utility Employee Change. During the hearings, local unions will offer their positions. After the input, the Change Committee will issue its decisions.
