Union Training Official to Speak at National Conference

Mark Johnson, Director of Teamsters National Training, will speak at the Trustees Institute for Jointly Managed Training and Education Funds at the request of the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans. The Institute is scheduled January 23-25 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.

Johnson, along with an associate, will present “The Strategic Planning Process,” which focuses on the role of training and education funds in developing their goals and objectives.

The institute, devoted specifically to the needs and interests of training and education funds, will be attended by trustees, apprenticeship/training coordinators union/employer association representatives and others who provide training and education to their membership.

The foundation has extended the early sign up date for Teamsters so they may attend the Institute at the lower fee of $885. The date has been extended until January 6, 2006.
